Lynne, Office Manager
Lynne joined New Tampa Eye Institute in May 2015. Born and raised here in the Tampa Bay Area, she recently moved back to the area from Savannah, Georgia with her husband after he completed his military career with the United States Army. Lynne comes to us with over 15 years experience in healthcare. Her experiences cover the full facet of private medical practice ranging from clinical to management. Lynne's main goal as New Tampa Eye Institute Office Manager is to ensure our patients receive quality service, compassion, and understanding while they undergo medical treatment. Lynne ensures the staff has the support they need to effectively and efficiently maintain a warm and friendly environment. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the Florida sunshine. She loves baseball and can be found cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays.
Conny, Lead Ophthalmic Assistant
Conny joined New Tampa Eye Institute in April 2017. Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, she moved to Florida in May 2007. Conny has worked in the medical field all her life. In 2009 Conny obtained her COA and has been working in the field of ophthalmology ever since. Conny's knowledge and experience in this field is a welcome addition to the New Tampa Eye Institute family. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband.
Heidi, Ophthalmic Assistant
Heidi joined New Tampa Eye Institute in November 2017. Heidi was born in New York, NY. She moved to Florida in 2006. Heidi worked in the field of ophthalmology since 1988. She obtained her COA in 1990. She has experience in cataracts, glaucoma, retina, and oculoplastics. Heidi enjoys educating and helping patients with understanding and expectations. During her free time she enjoys traveling and playing tennis.
Mindi, Ophthalmic Assistant
Mindi was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Tampa in 2017. Mindi has been working in the field of ophthalmology since 1979. She is a certified Ophthalmic Assistant and is experienced in cataracts, glaucoma, and retina. Mindi works hard to provide patients with outstanding patient care. During her free time she enjoys singing and nurturing her garden.
Melissa, Ophthalmic Assistant
Melissa joined New Tampa Eye Institute in October 2012. Melissa was born and raised on Long Island, NY and moved to Florida with her daughter in September 2012. Melissa obtained her Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and has over four years of experience in ophthalmology. Melissa promotes the family oriented environment of New Tampa Eye Institute on a daily basis. Melissa enjoys reading, art museums, and traveling with her family.
Markeeta, Ophthalmic Assistant
Markeeta joined New Tampa Eye Institute in June 2015. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida she moved to Pasco county in 2012. Markeeta worked in the field of ophthalmology since 2012. She obtained her certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant in February 2015. She has experience in cataracts, glaucoma, retina, and oculoplastics. She graduated with an Associates degree in Science and Surgical Technology from Keiser College in 2011. Markeeta enjoys providing our patients with outstanding patient care. During her free time she enjoys going to theme parks and spending quality time with her family.
Debbie, Patient Services Representative
Debbie joined New Tampa Eye Institute in August 2017. Debbie was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She has worked in ophthalmology for over 20 years. Debbie is known for her friendliness and smiling personality. In her free time Debbie enjoys camping, boating and spending time with her fifteen grandchildren.
Kelly, Ophthalmic Assistant
Kelly joined New Tampa Eye Institute in August 2015. Kelly was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She has worked in ophthalmology for over five years. Kelly's philosophy is to treat others as you would like to be treated, therefore she provides the highest level of customer service to all our patients. In her free time Kelly enjoys playing softball and spending quality time with her loving family and her two precious dogs.
